MARENER Industrial Services was contracted by ScoZinc to manage the start-up and commissioning of a decommissioned mining facility in rural Nova Scotia. MARENER’s certified project managers and trades personnel provided the cost effective and efficient solutions required to maintain a tight operational budget and schedule. The scope of services performed on-site and at our facility included: fabrication and installation of steel chutes; fabrication and installation of slot feeders and hopper sections; fabrication and installation of access platforms and safety railings; overhaul of various mechanical equipment; and conveyor system repairs and renewals. This project was completed on time and budget and lead to additional preventative maintenance and repair works at the facility was in operating.
