MARENER Industries was contracted by Irving Shipbuilding to provide secondary and tertiary steel fabrications on the South Venture platform built in Nova Scotia for ExxonMobil as part of the Sable Offshore Energy Project. Over 15,000 man-hours were completed over a three-month period with a peak of 39 tradespeople with no loss time accidents or safety incidents. The following is a partial list of fabrications performed: high-pressure pipe spools; access platforms; stair towers; handrails; and deck gratings.
