MARENER Industries NL was awarded a contract for the “Provision of Fabrication Services” by world-renowned subsea contractor SubSea 7 (formerly Acergy Canada) and field operator Husky Energy. This fast tracked, high profile project was an integral part of the future protection of the turret moonpool equipment area of the Sea Rose FPSO.
The following is a partial scope of work completed by MARENER on this project:
- Shop fabrication of support grillages, sea fastenings, and engineered designed pedestals required for stability during refurbishment;
- Site installations of all associated steel supports;
- Wellhead cover plate refurbishment and clean up;
- Site demobilization to original state; and
- Provision of project management and supervision.
MARENER is pleased to report that the project was completed on time and on budget, with no loss time accidents or safety incidents.
